Profile:
Faisal Siddiqi graduated from the London School of Economics and read law at the University of Cambridge. Siddiqi’s practice is varied and includes civil, criminal, human rights and taxation law. He is well known for his expertise in laws relating to the pharmaceutical industry. His legal prowess extends to various areas of law and his commercial success as a litigator stands testament to the depth and breadth of his legal expertise. Siddiqi has often served an advisor and/or consultant to the Attorney General of Pakistan and has been instrumental in drafting several important pieces of legislation both at the provincial and national level. A significant segment of Faisal Siddiqi’s practice consists of social justice work. He frequently appears as Amicus Curiae for various cases of Public Interest Litigation, and variously in cases on matters of public importance, that are brought before the Honorable High Court of Sindh and Supreme Court of Pakistan. His social justice work has led him to work with several international partners such as the European Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR). He regularly appears pro-bono in constitutional and human rights cases in Pakistan. Siddiqi is an active member of Board of Directors of Pakistan Institute for Labor Education and Research (PILER).
